Pure athletes

I've been following my grandkidz in their sports activities. CARTER, CUTLER AND LANDON have each been playing basketball and football respectively.

Sam is CARTER'S basketball coach. Because CARTER can score at will, Sam has layed down a rule that CARTER must follow. He is not to score without permission from the coach. I've noticed it has caused CARTER to be a proficient passer and playmaker.

CUTLER is playing football. His speed makes him an important member of the team. This last game, however, he slightly sprained his ankle just before the game which slowed him down some.

LANDON is in on every football play. He seems to have a eye for the play because he's often the one to pull the flag on the opposing quarterback.

SPENCER'S basketball season (as well as all the other Kidz) begins next month.

Wow...I wonder where they get all their athletic talent. I think Sandi must be gifted in that area! Maxwell is actually showing a bit of athleticism himself. He has played two soccer games and has proven to be a defensive specialist. Steve has worked so hard teaching him to anticipate where the ball will go on defense, that he has become really good in that area. The problem is that in 3 on 3 soccer you really need all three players in the offensive plays as well! It is really cute to watch him work his defensive magic. He has even learned a reverse kick, but our goal this week is to teach him to be more aggressive offensively. His games are on Saturdays at different times. This saturday his game is at 9 am if you are interested.

you wanna know what is was thinking...when we all have teenage kids, we could have some pretty sweet games going on at reunions with as much athletic blood as there is! and there will definately be enough players to have two full teams. fun thought huh.
